FOX Sports Ohio Announces 2013-14 Cleveland Cavaliers TV Coverage
Ohio’s premier
regional sports network to cover 81 regular season games, beginning Opening
Night, Wednesday, Oct. 30th when the Cavs host the Brooklyn Nets.

Sports Ohio is excited to announce it will carry the maximum number (81) of
Cleveland Cavaliers games eligible for local broadcast during the 2013-14
regular season. Of the Cavs complete 82-game
schedule,
FOX Sports Ohio will not be able to televise the Cavaliers Jan. 30 game at New
York due to national television exclusivity rights.
The
network’s coverage of the Cavs’ regular season begins Opening Night,
Wednesday, Oct. 30th at 7pm when the Cavs host the Brooklyn Nets
at Quicken Loans Arena. FOX Sports Ohio will also air a special one-hour
edition of Cavaliers Live Pregame Show that evening, starting at 6pm.
Cavaliers
Live (#CavsLive)
will return with commentary, features, and in-depth pre-game coverage of the
Cavs 30 minutes prior to every game telecast. The Halftime Report, presented by
KIA Motors, will break down the first half of the game and offer
insights in preparation for the second half. Immediately following the final
buzzer of each game, the post-game edition of Cavaliers Live, presented
by Conrad’s Tire Express and Total Car Care, will feature highlights,
player interviews and analysis.
The network is also pleased to announce the return of its Cavs
broadcast team. Cavaliers legend Austin Carr will continue to spice up
the color analysis for the entire FOX Sports Ohio schedule along-side veteran
play-by-play man Fred McLeod and sideline reporter Allie Clifton.
Jeff Phelps and Campy Russell are also back to host Cavaliers Live
shows.
Phelps will continue to host Cavaliers in the Paint, a show that
provides the most up-to-date news and highlights surrounding the Cavs,
premiering at 6pm on Tuesday, November 5th.
FOXSportsOhio.com will also feature in-depth analysis and feature
stories surrounding the Cavs from NBA expert and columnist Sam Amico. During
the season fans will have an opportunity to interact online by sending in
questions during his live online chat every Wednesday at Noon.
