FOX Sports Indiana to televise three IHSAA football playoff games

For the second consecutive year FOX Sports Indiana will televise three IHSAA football playoff games.

All three games will be shown live on FOX Sports Plus, the network’s alternate channel, due to overlap with Indiana Pacers telecasts on FOX Sports Indiana. FOX Sports Plus is available on most cable and satellite providers in FOX Sports Indiana footprint, reaching nearly all of the network’s 1.2 million Indiana homes. Channel numbers for FOX Sports Plus are listed below. The games will also be replayed on FOX Sports Indiana and nationally on FOX College Sports.

FOX Sports Indiana’s coverage starts this Friday, Nov. 2, with the live telecast of the Sectional matchup between Columbus North and Center Grove. Kickoff is 7 p.m. ET, with Jim Barbar and Mark Herrmann calling the action.  FOX Sports Indiana will televise an IHSAA Regional playoff game on Friday, Nov. 9, and a Semi-State matchup on Friday, Nov. 16.

FOX Sports Indiana will also carry three IHSAA basketball games in 2013. FOX Sports Indiana is the TV home of the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever, and broadcasts Cincinnati Reds baseball and St. Louis Blues hockey as well as Missouri Valley Conference, Big 12, Conference USA, Pac-12 and SEC events. Nationally, FOX Sports Networks’ 19 owned-and-operated regional channels serve as TV home to more than half of all MLB, NHL and NBA teams.

Founded in 1903, the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) provides state championship tournament series in 20 sports. Approximately 160,000 student athletes participate at IHSAA’s 408 member schools.
