FOX Sports Indiana to televise 82 Pacers games
INDIANAPOLIS -- Starting with next week's preseason games in Asia, FOX Sports Indiana will televise 82 Indiana Pacers games over the next seven months, the network's biggest Pacers television schedule ever.
FOX Sports Indiana tips off coverage with the Oct. 10 Pacers preseason game against the Houston Rockets at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, The Philippines. It could be called Breakfast with the Pacers as the game will start at 7:30 a.m. in Indianapolis.
The same two teams then travel to Taipei, Taiwan, for an Oct. 13 preseason game at the Taipei Arena. That game starts at 1:30 a.m.
Both games will be re-broadcast on FOX Sports Indiana -- the Manila game at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Oct. 10, and the Taipei game at 5 p.m. on Oct. 13.
The FOX Sports Indiana regular-season schedule begins with the Pacers' regular-season opener at 7 p.m. Oct. 29, when they host the Orlando Magic. That will be the first of 80 regular-season games on FOX Sports Indiana, the two exceptions being the Jan. 16 game at New York and the Jan. 20 game at Golden State. Those two games will be televised on TNT.
"We're thrilled to deliver our biggest Pacers TV schedule ever on FOX Sports Indiana to fans throughout the state," said FOX Sports Indiana General Manager and Senior Vice President Jack Donovan. "The Pacers are coming off a great 2012-13 season and are poised to be one of the NBA's best teams again this year."
Chris Denari, in his eighth season as play-by-play man, and Quinn Buckner, in his 15th season as analyst, will call the action. Former Pacers player Austin Croshere will serve as analyst on selected games throughout the season. Brooke Olzendam returns for her third season as the "Pacers Live" pregame and postgame show host as well as in-game sideline reporter.
Again this season, all eight preseason games and all 82 regular-season games will be available on the Bankers Life Indiana Pacers Radio Network, which includes The Fan 107.5 FM/1070 AM in the Indianapolis area. Mark Boyle begins his 26th season as play-by-play man with legendary Bob "Slick" Leonard, in his 29th year as an analyst, joining him for all home games. Kevin Lee returns for his 18th year as radio host and sideline reporter for all home games, with Michael Grady hosting the road games.
