FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- On Sunday, Aug. 11, our very own FOX Sports Florida Girl Jordana hopped aboard the FOX Sports 1 Fan Express on an epic road trip to launch the new network. If her first day proved anything, it's that this network knows how to bring the fun.

The second the wheels touched ground, Jordana went straight to Busch Stadium for a Cardinals home game. There, she met up with her FOX Sports Girls cohorts to greet fans at The Outfield, a popular sports bar near the stadium.

"Cardinals fans are diehard," Jordana exclaimed. "They are so passionate and loyal to their team -- it was really fun to see."

Before the game, Jordana, the FOX Sports Girls, and Cletus went on the field for an interview to promote FOX Sports 1, which premieres on Aug. 17 and then got to watch the Cards win 8-4 to the Chicago Cubs while chatting with St. Louis fans.

"The fans were so interested and excited to learn about the FOX Sports Girls in other regions," Jordana mentioned. "It was nice to come together and show people that we’re a team."

Another plus for Jordana -- experiencing the Midwest Girls at home interacting with their fans.

Later, the group was moved to the famous Gateway Arch and a riverboat ride through the city.

"St. Louis is beautiful," Jordana said. "I couldn't think of a better way to see the city than with my lovely Girls."

At the end of the day, the FOX Sports 1 Fan Express packed up and moved on to Fort Campbell, Ky., where they will visit an army base. Throughout the rest of the week the bus will make various stops across the country, visiting ballparks and arenas, until it parks in Boston, Mass., for the launch of FOX Sports 1 on Saturday.

FOX Sports 1 focuses on the fan and the fun. The national 24-hour network will air college games, NASCAR coverage, UFC fights, and a slew of new shows including FOX Sports LIVE and FOX Football Daily. Jordana promises that the new station will give fans a fresh feel to sports coverage.
