FOX Sports Florida to celebrate Little League baseball during Marlins-A's broadcast
MIAMI (June 27, 2014) -- Every budding baseball career has its own humble beginning, and on Sunday, June 29, starting at 12:30 p.m. with the Marlins Live pregame show, FOX Sports Florida will provide viewers with a sentimental look back at the little league memories that helped shape Miami Marlins players.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Little League baseball program and throughout the Marlins vs. Athletics Kid's Sunday themed broadcast, FOX Sports Florida will debut a series of vignettes titled #CatchTheDream. Players scheduled to be featured on-air include Giancarlo Stanton, Jake Marisnick, Marcell Ozuna, Steve Cishek, Mike Dunn, Garrett Jones and Christian Yelich. Fans are encouraged to tweet @FOXMarlins with their own little league memories as Rich Waltz, Tommy Hutton, Jeff Conine and Craig Minervini share their top moments.
