On Wednesday, Don Zimmer, who spent more than six decades in baseball in various roles, died at the age of 83.
Sun Sports Tampa Bay Rays' announcer Dewayne Staats was a broadcaster for the Chicago Cubs when Zimmer was named manager of the year with the team in 1989.
Staats discussed his memories of that season with Paul Kennedy.
