FOX Sports Florida, Florida Panthers announce complete 2013 TV schedule
SUNRISE, Fla. — FOX Sports Florida and Sunrise Sports & Entertainment jointly announced Tuesday the Florida Panthers’ 2013 NHL regular season broadcast schedule featuring all 48 games broadcast in HD on the FOX Sports Florida family of networks.
FOX Sports Florida, the regional television home of the Panthers, will broadcast 42 games, while Sun Sports will serve as the home for six games in April.
FOX Sports Florida will kick off the season with a special one-hour PANTHERS LIVE pregame show at 6:30 p.m. outside on the BB&T Center’s JetBlue Tarmac, prior to the season opener vs. the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 7:30 p.m. The Southeast Division champion Panthers will unveil their championship banner before same game.
Play-by-play announcer Steve “Goldie” Goldstein returns, alongside 14-year NHL veteran Bill Lindsay as color analyst, to provide viewers with expert commentary throughout the season. Panthers’ analysts Frank Forte and Allison Williams will also return to join the broadcasts as the hosts of PANTHERS LIVE, FOX Sports Florida’s pregame show for home games, and extended postgame show for all telecasts.
The popular INSIDE THE PANTHERS series returns and will feature player profiles and episodes offering behind-the-scenes access to other aspects of the team and its operations — all designed to bring the fans closer to their favorite team. There are three new episodes tentatively scheduled to air throughout the upcoming season with Panthers rising star Jonathan Huberdeau the subject of the first INSIDE THE PANTHERS episode.
