MIAMI, FL -- FOX Sports Florida and Sunrise Sports & Entertainment jointly announced today the Florida Panthers' 2013-2014 NHL regular season television broadcast schedule featuring 78 games broadcast in HD on the network.

FOX Sports Florida will start the season on the road as the Panthers travel to Dallas to take on the Stars. Coverage will start at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 3. PANTHERS LIVE, FOX Sports Florida's pregame show for home games, and extended postgame show for all home and road broadcasts, will provide viewers with an in-depth look at the team before they hit the ice versus their opponents.

Play-by-play announcer Steve "Goldie" Goldstein returns, alongside 14-year NHL veteran Bill Lindsay as color analyst, to provide viewers with expert commentary throughout the season.

The popular INSIDE THE PANTHERS series returns and will feature player profiles and episodes offering behind-the-scenes access to other aspects of the team and its operations -- all designed to bring the fans closer to their favorite team. There are six new episodes tentatively scheduled to air throughout the upcoming season.

The 2013-2014 broadcast schedule will provide fans with an exciting, season-long slate of matchups. As part of NHL realignment Florida will now compete in the Atlantic Division featuring in-state rival Tampa Bay, original six opponents Detroit, Montreal, Boston, and Toronto, as well as Buffalo and Ottawa.

In addition to the new Atlantic Division, FOX Sports Florida will be televising 20th Anniversary-themed broadcasts throughout the season in honor of the Panthers 20th Anniversary.
