FOX Sports Detroit takes home five EMMYs
FOX Sports Detroit was honored with five EMMYs on Saturday night by the Michigan Chapter of National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The awards were presented at the organization's 36th annual ceremony at MotorCity Casino's Hotel's Sound Board Theatre in Detroit.
The FOX Sports Detroit winning entries included an EMMY for the live/unedited coverage of the Red Wings Alumni Game as part of Hockeytown Winter Festival at Comerica Park. FOX Sports Detroit has received 105 EMMY's overall since 2000, including 60 over the last six years.

Sports - News Feature: Ramon Right (Justin White, Chad Schwartzenberger)
An EMMY-winning segment featuring Ramon Aguilar, who realized his dream of playing in a game for Thurston's football team after being born with a rare genetic disorder and having heart failure as a toddler which prevents him from playing contact sports.
Sporting Event/Game - Live/Unedited - Series: Pistons Basketball (Christopher Wasielewski, David Rhoades, Brady Clyma)
The network was honored for its coverage of Pistons Basketball.
Sporting Event/Game - Live/Unedited - Program/Special: Red Wings Alumni Game (Mark Iacofano, Brady Clyma, John Tuohey)
The network was honored for its five hours of coverage of the Red Wings Alumni Game at Comerica Park.
On-Camera Talent - Anchor - Sports: Shannon Hogan Anchoring Compilation (Shannon Hogan)
This EMMY is for a compilation of studio and site anchoring by Shannon Hogan.

The Michigan Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is the most recognized non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and recognition of excellence in television.
