FOX Sports Carolinas, Hurricanes announce 2014-15 TV schedule
FOX Sports Carolinas and the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes today announced that 79 games of the Canes' 2014-15 season will be televised. Of the 79 games, 67 games will be carried on FOX Sports Carolinas, while 12 will be carried on FOX Sports Carolinas' sister network, SportSouth.
John Forslund will handle the Hurricanes play-by-play duties for the 20th straight season and former professional goaltender Tripp Tracy, who is entering in his 16th season, will provide analysis. Chantel McCabe returns for her third season as rinkside reporter.

Each of the team's games will be preceded and followed by the network's 30-minute pre- and postgame shows, Hurricanes LIVE, hosted by McCabe with appearances by Forslund and Tracy.
The Hurricanes will open the season by hosting the New York Islanders on Friday, Oct. 10 at 7:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports Carolinas.
