FOX Sports Arizona to air high school football title games

Set your DVRs, high school football fans.

FOX Sports Arizona will air replays of the 4A, 5A and 6A AIA high school football championship games beginning Tuesday, Dec. 5.

Each game is scheduled to be aired five times.

The schedule is as follows:

4A: Salpointe Catholic vs. Saguaro


Saguaro relied on a dominant defense to win its fifth consecutive state title and ninth in 11 years with a 28-7 victory over Salpointe.

5A: Notre Dame Prep vs. Centennial

After losing in the title game last season to Williams Field, Centennial claimed its sixth state title with a 42-21 victory over Notre Dame. Zidane Thomas rushed for 273 yards and a pair of touchdowns and quarterback Ruben Beltran accounted for 165 yards passing, 51 yards rushing and two scores.

6A: Perry vs. Chandler


Chandler made it back-to-back state titles and three crowns in four years by outlasting Perry 49-42 in an offensive shootout. Quarterback Jacob Conover passed for 446 yards and four scores and Drake Anderson rushed for 191 yards and three TDs as the Wolves' were able to overcome a 322-yard, five-touchdown performance by Perry quarterback Brock Purdy.
