Diamondbacks legend Luis Gonzalez will join the FOX Sports Arizona television broadcast today for a special game broadcast with proceeds benefiting Going Gonzo for Kids.

This is the first time that fans watching D-backs games on FOX Sports Arizona will have the opportunity to participate in the popular Mystery Ball fundraiser.  Fans can purchase a mystery ball box for $50 each by calling in to the Mystery Ball hotline at (602) 462-3899 during the FOX Sports Arizona broadcast. More than 2,000 autographed baseballs will be available featuring signatures from numerous D-backs legends and current players.

Phone lines open during the pregame show starting at 6 p.m. and will remain open until all of the baseballs are sold or the end of the post-game show. Fans will receive their autographed baseball via mail and 25 lucky fans will be awarded a golden ticket to redeem for special prizes.

For 11 years, FOX Sports Arizona has been a partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation, raising funds for important charitable causes in our community.  In 2011, the World Series Ring Raffle broadcast raised more than $85,000 during the broadcast.  In 2010, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation sold all 2,000 autographed Luis Gonzalez Bobbleheads and raised $100,000 to benefit Going Gonzo for Kids during the special broadcast. Funds from this year's broadcast support a variety of Arizona-based children’s charities.
