Four-star recruit and Mesa (Ariz.) Mountain View standout Payton Dastrup is headed to Ohio State.
Dastrup picked the Buckeyes over strong interest from BYU, Virginia and Florida. The 6-foot-10, 230-pound center said the decision was tough, but he felt like Ohio State was the right fit for him.
"The overall feel I had of the campus, the facilities, the team and the atmosphere on campus," Dastrup responded when asked why he went with the Buckeyes. "There was a football game that weekend."
