The Indians 40-man roster has four spots available after a couple moves on Monday.

The White Sox claimed outfielder J.B. Shuck on waivers and catcher/infielder Chris Gimenez was outrighted from the 40 man onto the roster for Triple-A Columbus. Pitcher Tyler Cloyd was also re-signed to a minor-league contract and has been extended a non-roster invite to the Major League spring training camp.

Shuck was acquired from the Angels on Sept. 5 and appeared in 16 games, going 2 for 26. Gimenez appeared in eight games after being acquired from the Rangers on Aug. 23 and was hitless in nine at-bats.

Cloyd spent last season with Columbus and was 10-8 with a 3.89 ERA in 27 games with 26 starts. On July 30 against Louisville, the right-hander tossed the International League's first individual nine-inning no-hitter since 2011, facing the minimum 27 batters on 89 pitches. Cloyd was second in the IL in innings pitched (166 2/3) and was tied for seventh in wins and 12th in ERA.
