KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- She may forever become known as "fountain girl."

A 25-year-old woman from Des Moines, Iowa, attending the Royals-Twins game Monday night, was arrested after jumping (falling) into the Kauffman Stadium fountains beyond left-center field.

Jessica McCoy, after originally eluding security and police while tight-roping a thin wall between the fountains, was handcuffed and removed from the ballpark during the late innings of the Royals' 13-0 win. She later spent the night in jail.

McCoy was cited for trespassing, resisting arrest and also solicitation for allegedly offering a sex act to an officer in exchange for not being arrested.

Some of the Royals players in the left-field bullpen did catch a glimpse of her.

"It looked like she'd certainly had a few (libations)," Royals closer Greg Holland said.

Royals television broadcaster Rex Hudler said Fox Sports Kansas City elected not to show the incident live, but said he did see it on replay between innings.

"It was hysterical," Hudler said. "Guess you can't beat fun at the old ballpark."
