Grady Sizemore will step back on the diamond Thursday in a new uniform, hoping to bring back the swagger that made him a fan favorite in Cleveland.

In his first action since Sept. 2011, Sizemore is in the leadoff spot for the Red Sox's first spring game of the season against Northeastern.

Sizemore signed a one-year deal with the Red Sox in January after speculation he could wind up in Cincinnati.

The outfielder gets another shot after his career with the Indians was victimized by injuries - his last full season was all the way back in 2008.

When healthy, Sizemore was a versatile threat, earning two gold gloves and three All-Star nods in eight seasons as a member of the Indians.
