One of The Rock's nicknames is "The Great One."

So it's no surprise that Dwayne Johnson, who played for the Miami Hurricanes from 1991-94 would mention "greatness" when it comes to what the school needs in its next football coach.

Hurricanes head coach Al Golden was fired on Sunday after his team lost to Clemson, 58-0, the day before.

When this call went out for The Rock to take over coaching duties, The People's Champion shared his desire for Miami's next hire.

In his four years with the Hurricanes, Johnson started once, appeared in 39 games and recorded 77 tackles and 4.25 sacks.
