Former Badgers star Watt meets USMNT
Former Wisconsin Badgers star J.J. Watt visited the Mexican national team last week, just days before El Tri suffered the worst defeat in its history, a 7-0 loss to Chile.
The U.S. men's national team is probably hoping that a visit from Watt doesn't have the same effect on their matchup against Argentina on Tuesday.
A four-time Pro Bowler for the Houston Texans, Watt visited the team on Saturday, posting pictures and sharing encouragement with U.S. soccer stars like Clint Dempsey and Tim Howard.
The USMNT advanced to the semifinals of the Copa America Centenario with a win over Ecuador on Thursday in Houston.
