A former Dallas Cowboy will be featured on the hit CBS reality show "Survivor" for the second straight season.
Steve Wright, who was drafted by the Cowboys in 1981, is one of two NFL alums in the cast of 18 for the upcoming season, entitled "Survivor: Redemption Island."
Wright, 51, played two seasons as an offensive lineman for Dallas. He played college football at Northern Iowa and also spent parts of his 10-year NFL career with the Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Raiders.
Wright will be joined by Grant Mattos, 29, who was a wide receiver/special teams player for the Tennessee Titans and also spent time with the San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos. He played in six games for the Chargers in 2003.
Last season, former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson was part of the cast of "Survivor: Nicaragua." The former Super Bowl winning coach lasted eight days on the island and was the third contestant voted off.
Former Cowboys quarterback Gary Hogeboom, who also played for the Colts, Cardinals and Redskins, was a contestant on "Survivor: Guatemala" in 2005.
