Florida State-Miami game is a sellout
Prior to Wednesday night, the BankUnited Center had seen just one sellout for a Miami Hurricanes basketball game following its reconfiguration to 7,972 seats prior to the 2006-07 season.
Come Sunday night, that number will have tripled.
Coming off the heels of the Hurricanes' 90-63 destruction of No. 1 Duke before a capacity crowd Wednesday night, Miami's athletic department announced Thursday that Sunday's game against Florida State will also be a sellout.
The only other sellout in the arena's current configuration came Feb. 13, 2011, against Duke.
Miami (14-3, 5-0 ACC) entered the AP poll on Monday at No. 25, the first time the 'Canes have been ranked since January of 2010. Florida State (10-7, 2-2) hosts Clemson on Thursday night before making the trek to south Florida for Sunday's 6 p.m. ET tip.
