Florida, FSU to play hoops in Sunrise

Final Four participant Florida will play Wake Forest and Florida State will face South Florida on Dec. 20 in the MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic at Sunrise, Fla. Game times will be announced at a later date.

This will mark the 10th consecutive year the Classic will be held at BB&T Center. Game times will be announced at a later date. For ticket information please contact the Orange Bowl ticket sales office at (305) 341-4701 or visit www.orangebowl.org.

Florida will be making its 16th appearance in the Classic and have a 14-2 record all-time. They enter the Final Four on a school-record 30 game winning streak and have not suffered a loss since Dec. 2 to their national semifinal opponent, Connecticut.

Florida State is back to make its sixth appearance. The Seminoles, who reached the NIT semifinals in 2013-14, are 5-1 all-time in classic appearances.

With assistance from title sponsor MetroPCS and associate sponsors BB&T Center, FOX Sports Florida / Sun Sports, Greater Fort Lauderdale CVB, Sports Authority, Sunshine Health, The Miami Herald, Reese'€™s and Coca-Cola, the Orange Bowl Basketball Classic will be the only Division I basketball played in Broward County again next season.
