Hawaii has to offer and includes interviews with many top surfers
around the world about what the waves of Hawaii mean to them. For
these surfers, the surfing in Hawaii is considered the biggest
challenge all year and there are no events harder than the ones in
Hawaii; it can make or break your career. Many surfers agree that
the waves in Hawaii are so incredible that there is no other place
like it in the world. Learn about the world’s most famous
stretch of sand from Haleiwa past Pipeline to Sunset Beach at
Hawaii’s North Shore, a 7-mile stretch of wave after wave.
Watch Bethany Hamilton, who lost an arm in a tragic shark
attack but hasn’t kept her from doing what she loves,
surfing. Also watch Kekoa Bacalso, a Hawaiian pro surfer who
didn’t even live near the ocean, but who has become one of
the best because of his natural ability and passion for surfing.
