Fan tackles 24-ounce Beltre Buster

Move over Adam Richman ... Man vs. Food has nothing on this awesome fan at Friday night's Texas Rangers/Boston Red Sox game.

The old saying goes that "Everything is bigger in Texas," especially the food that can be found at the concession stands at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

And on that list of gigantic food offerings is the impressive Beltre Buster.

NESN cameras caught one very hungry fan eating the 24-ounce hamburger during Friday night's broadcast.

The production kept up with the gentleman, following his progression throughout the night.

Persistence paid off for this big eater, as by the end of the game, it looked as if he dusted off the monster meat patty.

NESN announcer Don Orsillo was so impressed with the feat that he tried it himself ... but came nowhere near this champion chomper.

The Beltre Buster is new to the Texas Rangers menu this season.  The burger is named after Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre and over a pound of beef, eight ounces of bacon and is covered in grilled onions.

And if you are ready to tackle this challenge at your next Rangers game, bring some extra cash as this beast runs a mean $26.

Yum.
