It has been a memorable eight-day stretch for Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin.

On Feb. 22, Austin became the first Monmouth University football player to have his jersey retired. Austin holds the school records for receiving yards in a game with 235 and touchdowns in a game with four.

While at Monmouth, Austin met Stacy Sydlo. On Saturday, they got married.

Former Cowboys wide receiver Kevin Ogletree posted a photo from the celebration on Instagram.

According to a tweeted photo of the wedding card, Cowboys teammates Tony Romo, Jason Witten and DeMarco Murray were all groomsmen.

The celebration, however, might turn into stressful times in the near future. Austin is under contract through the 2016 season, but the Cowboys' salary cap troubles will likely lead to Austin being released. Cutting Austin, who is coming off his worst season since becoming a starter in 2009, would save Dallas $5.5 million in cap space.

Austin, 29, caught 24 passes for 244 yards and no touchdowns in 11 games last season.
