LONDON (AP) England prop Joe Marler has been cited for striking Wales front row Rob Evans in Saturday's Six Nations match at Twickenham, and could face further trouble for comments made during his team's 25-21 victory.

Marler appeared to land a forearm in Evans' face while trying to help teammate Dan Cole.

He will appear before a Six Nations disciplinary hearing this week and could be ruled out of Saturday's Grand Slam match against France.

A separate incident of verbal abuse, where Marler was heard using a slur toward Wales' Samson Lee, is still under investigation. Marler apologized to Lee at halftime, the Rugby Football Union said.
