NEW YORK (AP) Elysea's World beat Grey Stark by a half-length Wednesday, giving trainer Chad Brown a 1-2 finish in the $80,000 allowance feature for 3-year-old fillies on the turf at Belmont Park.

Elysea's World was the 7-5 favorite in her U.S. debut. The Irish-bred filly captured her previous race last June in France.

Brown's horses were the deepest closers in the field. Elysea's World rallied from ninth with Javier Castellano aboard. Grey Stark was the 10th and final runner in the race before launching her bid.

The time was 1:41.26 for 1 1/16 miles on the firm course.
