We have covered the inspirational story of Devon Stills' daugher Leah before, and today we have another positive note to that saga, as the Indianapolis Colts have stepped up to contribute $10,000 in Leah's name.

The contribution will go to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's pediatric cancer research efforts. Here is the press release from the team:

The Indianapolis Colts continue their longtime support of cancer research, in honor of Bengals defensive lineman Devon Still's daughter, Leah. This week, Colts Owner and CEO Jim Irsay donated $10,000 to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center to support pediatric cancer care and research.

The donation in honor of Leah Still is one of several ways the team lends support for cancer research, in addition to continued support for the IU Simon Cancer Center. Earlier this month, the team announced plans to turn pink during the month of October as a part of the NFL's "A Crucial Catch" campaign to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month and pledged over $25,000 to breast cancer research. While these types of cancer are different, the message remains the same ... that awareness and continued fundraising is needed for all types of cancer with the hope that one day there will be a cure.

Still also appeared on Friday's "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" via satellite and updated everyone on his 4-year-old's condition.

"She's doing good. She just finished up her third round of chemo. This one kinda hit her hard because she didn't bounce all the way back from her surgery, but she's a fighter and she's gonna continue to fight," he said.

DeGeneres, who was wearing Still's jersey, then told Still she was donating $10,000 to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
