Eblouissante gets off to good start

Ain't No Other ended an 11-race losing streak by beating betting favorite Circa'sgoldengear by a neck Friday in the $69,440 feature at Betfair Hollywood Park.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Ain't No Other covered six furlongs on the turf in 1 minute, 8.97 seconds and returned $8.20 on a $2 win bet.

Willyconker was third.

Ain't No Other, a 4-year-old gelding, pushed his career earnings to $350,103 with the win, which was his first since he took the Livermore Valley Wine Stakes in July 2011 at Pleasanton.

Also Friday, Eblouissante, half-sister to super mare Zenyatta, won her debut by 4-1/4 lengths in a maiden allowance race against seven other fillies.

Ridden by Corey Nakatani, Eblouissante ran 1-1/16 miles in 1:45.27 and paid $4.80.
