Eagles hire former Browns GM Phil Savage

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- The Eagles have hired former Browns general manager Phil Savage as a player personnel consultant for the April draft.
Savage will work with new GM Howie Roseman and director of player personnel Ryan Grigson. He'll concentrate on evaluating draft prospects in the Southeast.
Savage spent four seasons as Cleveland's senior vice president and GM from 2005-08. He previously spent nine seasons working with the Baltimore Ravens.
