Tavon Allen and Frantz Massenat each made two free throws in the last 16 seconds to help Drexel win its second-straight triple overtime game, edging Cleveland State 85-82 Wednesday night in the Dragons' home opener.

The Dragons (5-2) knocked off Alabama 85-83 in three overtimes last week.

Allen's free throws with 16 seconds left made it 82-79. After Jon Harris' 3-pointer made it a one-point game Massenat was clutch with 7 seconds left. The Vikings (4-4) didn't get off a final shot.

Both teams had a chance to win earlier but missed late free throws.

Allen led Drexl with a career-high 23 points and Massenat had 21 and nine assists, playing all 55 minutes. Dartaye Ruffin had 15 points and 14 rebounds and Chris Fouch had 17 points.

Harris had a career-high 27 for Cleveland State with Bryn Forbes adding 22. Trey Lewis had 15 points and 8 assists.
