Tony Bennett may have left his heart in San Francisco but the Blue Jackets may have found their center in Chicago. Columbus head coach Scott Arniel put Rick Nash on the same line with struggling center Derick Brassard in the Jackets' seventh game against Chicago. Arniel did this right after the Calgary Flames handed the union blue their lunch in a 6-2 beat down in front of the home fans.

Since the move, Brassard has scored a point in every game and that now has reached seven. Before the Chicago game on October 23rd, Brassard had one assist in the six previous games. In the seven games since, he has five goals and eight points, and better yet the Blue Jackets have gone 5-2-0 in that span.

So has Nash found the center in Brassard that the Blue Jackets have been looking for in the all-star winger since he arrived? This search has been like looking for the holy grail and just as elusive. Since the change in Chicago, Nash hasn't exactly set the world on fire, but opportunities have been plentiful and Nash is just not getting rewarded at this point.

Nash has scored in four consecutive games, but to be honest, that is expected from what most consider one of the most dominate power forwards in the league. Last year at this time he had nine goals and twenty points after thirteen games. This year it
