Dodgers reinstate Uribe, option Castellanos

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers Monday reinstated infielder Juan Uribe from the 15-day disabled list and optioned infielder/outfielder Alex Castellanos to Triple-A Albuquerque. Castellanos, 25, was batting .143 with a triple and two RBI in 11 games.

Uribe has been out of the lineup since May 13 with pain in his left wrist and batted .300 (3-for-10) with a triple, a home run and three RBI in three rehab games with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. The 33-year-old is batting .250 with a home run and 10 RBI in 25 games this season, with the Dodgers going 17-8 in those contests. Uribe has been clutch in key situations this season, batting .364 with runners in scoring position (8-for-22) and hitting .310 with runners on base (13-for-42).
