Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant returned to practice Thursday after testing his sprained foot for the first time on Wednesday.

Bryant didn't take his full allotment of snaps on Wednesday, but did enough to bolster the belief that he will be on the field Sunday at Kansas City.

"Dez did some work yesterday. It wasn't a complete practice for him, but it seemed like he responded well to the work that we gave him," coach Jason Garrett said during his Thursday news conference prior to practice.

"He just didn't take every single rep like he normally does, every single one of 'his' reps, so to speak," Garrett said. "And that was just a function of, you know, we played Sunday night, he has a little bit of a foot injury and we just want to make sure that he's healthy and ready to go for this ballgame. No setbacks, it was just maybe a little bit more of a limited practice for him than a typical Wednesday."

Defensive end Anthony Spencer did not practice Thursday after returning Wednesday for the first time since knee surgery on July 25. However, it was a scheduled day off for Spencer and not because of any setback to his injury. Spencer is hoping to play at least a few plays on Sunday.
