Dez Bryant usually has a lot to say on the field, so it makes sense that the Dallas Cowboys' star wide receiver was picked to wear a microphone during Sunday's 37-36 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The pregame highlights included Bryant getting a motivational shove from Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett and some inspirational words from team owner Jerry Jones.
It's obvious from the five-minute NFL.com Sound FX clip, which can be viewed here, Bryant tries to motivate his teammates throughout the game on both sides of the ball. The team's leading receiver encouraged the defense numerous times when they struggled to get a fourth-quarter stop and he complimented DeMarco Murray after the running back scored in the second quarter.
"I like how you running," Bryant said to Murray. "I love it, bro. You said you were going to start quick and that's what the (heck) you're doing."
The video also catches Bryant leaving the field after Green Bay intercepted a second Tony Romo pass, allowing the Packers to run out the clock.
Bryant acknowledged Monday that he was wrong for making the early exit.
