Dez Bryant: 'It's not all about me'
Dez Bryant was the Dallas Cowboys' leading receiver during Sunday's 30-21 loss in San Diego.
Bryant had six catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns. But should those stats have been even better?
After the Chargers scored for the final time, a 56-yard touchdown pass from Philip Rivers to Antonio Gates, the Cowboys had just under seven minutes remaining to try to mount a comeback.
Dallas quarterback Tony Romo dropped back to pass 11 times on the series that followed, never once throwing in Bryant's direction.
But judging by this response, Bryant didn't seem to have a problem with that after the game.
"It's not all about me," Bryant said. "This is a team. Y'all need to know that. We're going to do what we need to do, and we're going to keep getting stronger, and we're going to get better. We're going to get better each and every week. That's our goal."
Bryant added: "We got too much talent on this team. That's the great thing about it. Everybody can make a play. Everything went well. We all as one, just got to continue to try to execute the best way we possibly can."
