Denny Hamlin to join Hawks-Bobcats telecast

NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin will be part of the Atlanta Hawks-Charlotte Bobcats telecast on Wednesday night.

Hamlin,
who will race in the Daytona 500 on Feb. 24 on FOX, will sit in with
Bobcats analysts Steve Martin and Dell Curry during the first quarter of
the game in Charlotte, then joins the Hawks team of Bob Rathbun and
Dominique Wilkins in the second quarter.

The game will air on SportSouth, with the Bobcats LIVE and Hawks LIVE pregame shows beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Hamlin
is entering his eighth season in the Sprint Cup Series, winning 22
races, including five last season when he finished sixth in the points
standings. The Virginia native has been no lower than ninth in the
points in each of the last five years, including 2010 when he was
second.
