LOS
ANGELES – Following yesterday’s game
at Chicago, the Los Angeles Dodgers reinstated infielder Ivan De Jesus from the
15-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque.
De
Jesus had been on the disabled list since March 26 after straining his left
oblique during a Spring Training game against the Giants on March 17 at
Camelback Ranch – Glendale. The 24-year-old appeared in four rehab games with
Triple-A Albuquerque and batted .261 (6-for-23) with a triple and three RBI in
11 Spring Training games with the Dodgers prior to his injury.
