PHOENIX -- Veteran forward Danny Granger has exercised his $2.1 million salary option with the Phoenix Suns for the 2015-16 season.
Granger, a 10-year NBA veteran, was acquired by the Suns from the Miami Heat in a trade on Feb. 19, 2015 that sent Goran Dragic to Miami, but he did not play following the trade because of health reasons. He has been working out in Phoenix during the off-season and working with the Suns medical and training staff.
Granger has career averages of 16.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 586 games but has seen only limited action since 2012.
