Brenda Jackson, mother of Dale Earnhardt Jr., was in a cheerful mood after the world learned that her son proposed to girlfriend Amy Reimann while vacationing in Germany earlier this week.
Asked to share her thoughts on the engagement on the latest episode of "JRM360," Jackson made no attempt to mask her joy.
"I'm very excited for both of them," said Jackson, the second wife of the late Dale Earnhardt. "I'm happy. I know Dale (Jr.) is real excited, and him and Amy love each other very much."
Already a grandmother to the three children of Dale Jr.'s sister, Kelley, Jackson is eagerly anticipating the day when Dale Jr. and Amy might give her another grandchild.
"I am just looking forward to a wonderful future for the both of them, and hopefully a grandchild for me," she said with a big smile.
