D-backs sign OF Bourn to minor-league deal

PHOENIX -- The Diamondbacks signed outfielder Michael Bourn to a minor-league contract on Tuesday and assigned him to Double-A Mobile.
Bourn has a career batting average of .266 over the course of 10 seasons with the Phillies, Astros, Braves and Indians.
Bourn on Saturday was released by the Blue Jays, who had signed him after he was designated for assignment by the Braves.
Bourn batted .238 with a .310 on-base percentage with Cleveland and Atlanta last season. Bourn, who won a pair of Gold Glove Awards in 2009 and 2010 and made two All-Star Game appearances in '10 and '12, hit .257 in nine games for High-A Dunedin before the Blue Jays released.
The D-backs on Tuesday also optioned RHP Archie Bradley to Triple-A Reno and recalled RHP Evan Marshall from Reno.
