Crazed hockey fan launches can of beer at referee that drills him below the belt
During a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) game on Feb. 11, the brother of a player penalized for roughing went and roughed the referee who called the penalty -- by tossing a can of beer at him from the stands.
It happened during the second period at the Centre of Excellence Sports Rousseau in Boisbriand, Quebec, when Alexandre Perron, the 29-year-old brother of Francis Perron of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, chucked a "nearly full" beer can at referee Dominic Bedard, according to Le Journal De Montreal. Check out the ugly scene in the video:
FAN THROWS A BEER AT REFEREE, HITS HIM IN THE NUTSReferee Dominic Bedard took a beer can to the nuts a few nights ago after giving Francis Perron a penalty in the QMJHL. Perron's 29-year-old brother who was in the stands watching the game threw a beer at the ref and it hit him square in the nether regions. He was later arrested and could be charged with assault with a weapon. (H/T: RDS/Reddit/TVASports)

The can nailed Bedard exactly where it hurts. He was shaken and needed a break to let the pain run its course (you know the kind, fellas) but managed to return to the game.
