Craft earns Big Ten honor

You've heard of that freshman who has helped push undefeated Ohio State to the nation's top ranking, right?

Monday also brought deserved recognition for the other one.

Point guard Aaron Craft, whose career-high 19 points helped the Buckeyes stay unbeaten last Saturday against Penn State, was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week Monday.

It's the tenth time this season an Ohio State player has received the honor. Jared Sullinger has won it eight times, and DeShaun Thomas won it for the week of Nov. 29.

Sullinger's three-point play clinched the Penn State game and the No. 1 ranking that officially came Monday morning, but Craft hit several big baskets of his own and helped in the defensive effort to slow Penn State's Talor Battle, who'd be the
