GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Phoenix Coyotes have recalled forward Gilbert Brule from the Portland Pirates of the America Hockey League.
The 5-foot-11, 187-pound Brule has recorded seven goals, five assists and a plus-3 rating in 11 games with the Pirates this season. He has a team-leading four power-play goals.
In parts of seven NHL seasons with the Columbus Blue Jackets, Edmonton Oilers and Coyotes, the 26-year-old Brule has played in 296 games and recorded 43 goals and 52 assists. He had five goals, nine assists and a plus-7 rating in 33 games with Phoenix in 2011-12.
