Coyotes call up Rundblad, send down Miele

The Coyotes on Sunday recalled defenseman David Rundblad and assigned center Andy Miele to the Portland Pirates, the team's American Hockey League affiliate.
 
The 6-foot-2, 189-pound Rundblad, a former first-round pick who was acquired from the Senators last year in the Kyle Turris trade, has played three games for the Coyotes this season. In 32 games with Portland, he has collected six goals and 17 assists, leading all Pirates defensemen in points.
 
The 5-foot-9, 175-pound Miele has played one game for the Coyotes this season. In 40 games with the Pirates, Miele has 11 goals and 16 assists, ranking third on the team in points.
