Coyotes assign Prucha to San Antonio

The Phoenix Coyotes announced Friday that right wing Petr Prucha has been assigned to the San Antonio Rampage, the team's American Hockey League affiliate.

The 6-foot, 175-pound Prucha has played in 11 games with the Coyotes this season, collecting one assist and four penalty minutes. Last season, the 28-year-old native of Chrudim, Czech Republic, played 79 games with the Coyotes, registering 13 goals and nine assists.

Prucha was originally drafted by the New York Rangers (eighth round, 240th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
