Cowboys worked out three QBs, five WRs Tuesday
The Dallas Cowboys have a roster spot available from releasing Lawrence Vickers last week and they might have two if Josh Brent is waived by the team or suspended by the league.
On Tuesday, the Cowboys looked at potential players to fill those spots.
Quarterbacks Chase Clement (Rice/Winnipeg Blue Bombers), Kyle Padron (SMU/Eastern Washington) and Alex Tanney (Monmouth) joined receivers Gino Crump (Arizona), Devin Goda (Slippery Rock), Antoine Hicks (TCU), DeWayne Peace (Houston) and Lavasier Tuinei (Oregon) for a workout at Valley Ranch, according to DallasCowboys.com.
Tony Romo and Kyle Orton will most likely be the only quarterbacks on the Cowboys’ 53-man roster, but Dallas could add another arm for training camp purposes. Nick Stephens and Dalton Williams are the other quarterbacks already on the current 90-man roster.
