IRVING, Texas (AP) -- The Dallas Cowboys have signed punter Delbert Alvarado.
Alvarado's signing Monday came three days after punter/kicker Jake Rogers was released.
Dallas claimed Rogers off waivers from Tampa Bay last month.
Alvarado went to training camp with the Cowboys two years ago as an undrafted rookie out of South Florida.
Mat McBriar, the team's Pro Bowl punter, is still a free agent. He is rehabilitating after surgery in February to remove a cyst below his left knee.
