Conor McGregor shows off his other talent in Heineken's new commerical
Everybody knows by now that UFC featherweight Conor McGregor is really good at a few things, most notably fighting inside the Octagon and verbally tearing apart opponents like paper mache. The Irish fighter can also rock a suit and a beard like nobody's business.
That's not all McGregor can do as witnessed by his latest gig where he's serving as a legendary Irishman in the Heineken beer campaign that says 'everybody is legendary at something'.
The commercial -- filmed in Ireland -- showcases three famous folks from the Emerald Isle as they showcase their skills outside of what they're known best for throughout the world. McGregor's unique trick may be the most surprising of all: he can build origami swans that will blow your mind.
The entire global campaign of which McGregor is involved is a 'talent search' and contest where people can submit their own unique talents and one winner will be given a trip to a private island in Belize.
"It was truly an honor to work with such a legendary brand like Heineken," McGregor told FOX Sports on Wednesday. "I have always been a big fan of their beer so when I had the chance to be a part of this campaign I jumped at it. Plus they are giving my Irish fans the chance to win a once in a lifetime trip to a paradise island in Belize. What's your hidden talent?"
McGregor is currently rehabbing his knee following surgery last year with an anticipated return date in the first half of 2014. When he's not working out or sparring with his training partners, it appears the way McGregor likes to wind down is with a beer and some good old fashioned origami.
If there's one thing you can say about McGregor -- it's pretty likely no one saw this as his hidden talent.
