There are four freshman tailbacks on the Colorado roster this season, but don't expect any of them to take much playing time away from Rodney 'Speedy' Stewart.

The junior from Westerville, Ohio, has been solid so far early in fall camp and he is coming off a season in which he received honorable mention All-Conference accolades from the league's coaches.

Stewart has eight career 100-yard games under his belt including five in the final nine games last season when he ran for 804 yards. The only other player with more yards to his credit than Stewart's 1,426 entering his junior season was Eric Bieniemy, the program's all-time leading rusher.

If anyone figures to bite into Stewart's playing time this season, it would be fellow junior Brian Lockridge, who is one of the fastest players on the team. Lockridge also returns kickoffs. He took one 98 yards for a touchdown last season at Oklahoma State.
