Florida quarterback Luke Del Rio of the Florida Gators (3-0) will miss Saturday's SEC showdown with the Tennessee Volunteers (3-0), who are listed as consensus 6.5-point home favorites at sportsbooks.
Del Rio suffered a sprained left knee in last week's 32-0 rout of the North Texas Mean Green, with Florida falling just short of covering as 33-point chalk.
The Volunteers have lost the past 11 meetings with the Gators, going 3-6-2 against the spread during that stretch, according to the OddsShark College Football Database. Both schools are 1-2 ATS through their first three games this season and hope to make an early statement here.
Another key conference matchup will take place in the Big Ten when the Wisconsin Badgers (3-0) visit the Michigan State Spartans (2-0) as 5.5-point road underdogs. The Badgers are also having quarterback issues, although that has more to do with underwhelming performances than anything else.
Alex Hornibrook replaced an ineffective Bart Houston in last week's 23-17 win over the Georgia State Panthers after Wisconsin trailed 17-13 early in the fourth quarter and failed to cover the spread as massive 35.5-point home chalk.
The visiting team has lost seven of the last eight meetings straight up, but the Badgers have won seven straight on the road overall.
